Public Sector Account Executive

We are seeking a skilled Public Sector Account Executive to join our team at HP Development Company, L.P. As a Field Sales Public Sector Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing acquisition accounts and driving revenue growth in the public sector.
About the Role
This is a full-time sales position that requires 50% travel for face-to-face customer and partner visits. You will work closely with internal and external partners to deliver solution sales and interface with senior levels in internal HP and external client and partner groups.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage an acquisition account list of public sector customers
* Coordinate account plans for strategic public sector accounts in the account planning process
* Focus on larger deals/opportunities and value and/or volume portfolio management and selling a range of HP products and solutions
* Use specialties to leverage existing opportunities and branch into more than one Business Unit (BU) in the account
* Travel for face-to-face customer and partner visits where appropriate
* Establish professional working relationships with clients and develop a core understanding of their unique business needs
Requirements
* University or bachelor's degree preferred
* Strong consultative selling skills to proactively help customers make IT business decisions
* Competitive selling skills
* Ability to exercise independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices
Benefits
* On-target earnings (OTE) range: $82,600 - $119,800 annually
* Salary: 60% of OTE, Incentive: 40% of OTE
