Public Sector Account Director

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of account plans for targeted state and local agencies and departments. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with Sales Executives to identify opportunities to engage SMEs to assist with or augment project delivery. Additionally, you will lead and manage all aspects of procurement lifecycle, including working cross-functionally across internal Slalom teams to identify and interpret RFP/RFQ/RFIs; assess go/no go decision; identify win themes, approach, staffing and pricing strategy, and relevant teaming partners as needed. Finally, you will drive proposals and partner with Pursuit Teams to develop and execute on sales strategy. To be successful in this role, you will need to have 10 years of relevant experience working with the public sector industry, either in-house and/or consulting industry. You should also have experience managing transformational programs that incorporate people, processes, and technology, as well as excellent negotiation, conflict management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
