About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Sector Sales Professional to join our team at HP Development Company, L.P. as an Account Manager for Government Institutions. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new business opportunities and developing strong relationships with key decision-makers in the public sector.

As an Account Manager, you will work closely with internal teams to build strategies and solutions that meet the unique needs of public sector customers. Your primary focus will be on larger deals and opportunities, managing a range of HP products and solutions, and leveraging existing partnerships to expand into multiple Business Units within accounts.

The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as a "can-do" attitude and the ability to drive revenue through acquisition accounts. They must also be able to exercise independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and recommend solutions.

This is a full-time position requiring 50% travel for face-to-face customer and partner visits. The compensation package includes a competitive salary of $82,600 to $119,800 annually, with a 60/40 salary/incentive mix, as well as additional opportunities for bonus and/or equity (for US candidates only). Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Typically 1-3 years of experience in sales or a related field
