About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to serve as the Senior Vice President of Institutional Advancement at St. Catherine University. As a key member of the university's leadership team, the Senior Vice President will be responsible for leading the advancement division, including fundraising, alumni relations, and external communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the advancement division, including fundraising, alumni relations, and external communications
  • Collaborate with the Board of Trustees, President, and other senior leaders to develop and implement strategic plans for institutional advancement
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, donors, and corporate partners
  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising campaigns to support the university's mission and goals
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of professionals in the advancement division
  • Foster a culture of philanthropy and engagement among students, faculty, and staff

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher
  • Proven track record of success in fundraising and leadership roles
  • Experience in managing comprehensive and capital campaigns
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Commitment to the mission and values of St. Catherine University

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in and understanding of the philanthropy in the Midwest
  • Proven track record of philanthropic success
  • Familiarity with the university's mission and values
