Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Senior Vice President, Client Experience with a strong background in corporate communications. This role requires a proactive individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and an integrated media approach. The Senior Vice President will oversee corporate-focused initiatives, providing guidance and support in areas such as narrative and messaging development, executive visibility, thought leadership, internal communications, media relations, and reputation management. Additionally, this position will serve as the primary client liaison and mentor junior team members. Experience in sustainability communications is a valuable asset given our project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of multiple client programs, managing budgets and strategic plans.
  • Maintain regular client interactions, establishing trust and providing expert advice.
  • Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, integrated media specialists) while managing account-focused personnel.
  • Drive the creation of communication strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted industry authority, delving deeply into client operations to deliver added value.
  • Propose enhancements and innovative ideas to surpass client expectations based on industry insights.
  • Oversee team resource allocation to guarantee successful project delivery.
  • Support the professional development of junior team members, acting as a mentor and role model.
  • Engage in agency growth initiatives and contribute to new business efforts.
  • Exhibit financial proficiency in budgeting, billing, and staffing matters.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in reputation management and corporate communications, ideally encompassing both agency and in-house roles.
  • Expertise in corporate communications, with a focus on sustainability and internal communications.
  • Experience collaborating with integrated teams on comprehensive campaigns.
  • Familiarity with reputation, issues, and crisis management.
  • Ability to translate client requirements into actionable plans and projects.
  • Strong presentation skills and persuasive communication abilities.
