As a Senior Vice President of Strategic Acquisitions within the M&A/Investments division, you will oversee the execution of acquisition, divestiture, and investment transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Business Development team and business units to identify, assess, and engage potential acquisition opportunities.
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams, including business and functional experts, through the transaction execution process, encompassing due diligence, financial analysis, negotiation, and integration planning.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through the divestiture process, including information gathering, due diligence support, marketing, financial analysis, negotiation, and carve-out strategy.
  • Facilitate the sharing of information across functions and synthesize collective insights from the due diligence process.
  • Direct financial modeling efforts and partner closely with the Finance department and business units to ensure accurate financial assumptions and due diligence findings are reflected in the models and transaction documentation.
  • Work alongside legal teams to determine suitable deal structures, negotiation strategies, and transaction terms, as well as collaborate on negotiations and documentation.
  • Prepare communication materials and secure executive approvals for transactions.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, complemented by an advanced Legal degree or MBA.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, corporate ventures, or strategic marketing within a corporate, consulting, or venture capital environment.
  • Proven experience in handling various sizes of private and public acquisitions or investments, divestitures, and related carve-out activities, both domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated project management skills, excelling in both content leadership and process management.
  • The ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader with strong relationship-building capabilities, adept in project management, and a proactive problem solver.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with strong financial, legal, and general business acumen.
  • Experience in leading and effectively collaborating within a team-oriented, matrixed environment.
