We are currently seeking a Credit and Collections Specialist to operate from our Tampa, FL facility. This position requires in-office attendance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and process customer credit applications, including reaching out to trade references and gathering necessary documentation.
  • Establish new customer profiles within the ERP system.
  • Manage collections by analyzing aging reports for assigned accounts and contacting customers via phone and email regarding payment status.
  • Oversee customer credit limits and monitor average payment timelines.
  • Authorize daily customer orders based on established financial criteria and facilitate internal approvals as per company policy.
  • Process credit card transactions for customers.
  • Address customer billing and pricing discrepancies by collaborating with internal teams.
  • Issue credit memos for returned goods.
  • Provide professional phone support with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Complete other reports and duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and billing.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capability to work independently.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
