Job Overview

The Credit Account Coordinator plays a vital role in managing customer credit applications and billing inquiries. This position is essential for ensuring accurate communication regarding discrepancies, collecting overdue invoices, and resolving payment application issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold company standards for accuracy and efficiency in all job functions.
  • Complete and submit all daily paperwork and assignments as instructed.
  • Authorize extensions of credit as necessary.
  • Process payments and update customer accounts accordingly.
  • Engage with customers via phone, mail, and email to identify reasons for overdue payments and facilitate collection.
  • Review sales terms, service agreements, and credit contracts with customers.
  • Document customer financial status and collection efforts.
  • Maintain detailed electronic notes in the CRM system regarding customer interactions and account status.
  • Assess when delinquent accounts should be escalated to the legal department.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience in collections, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or property management is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime as required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work is necessary.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional environment.
