Senior Credit Risk Analyst

The successful candidate will be tasked with evaluating and advising on risk elements associated with substantial, intricate structures and transactions pertinent to Commercial and Industrial (C&I) and Corporate Enterprises. The primary objective will be to deliver independent and objective evaluations, track relationship trends, assess credit risk, and propose suitable credit solutions for the designated portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial statements, perform thorough evaluations, and prepare credit approval documentation in accordance with Bank credit protocols and policies.
  • Examine and evaluate the financial health and operational performance of commercial and corporate entities for both new and existing loan exposures.
  • Provide a comprehensive assessment of risk factors for various loan types within the Bank's credit framework.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to enhance the underwriting process.
  • Support the training of new credit analysts and interns.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies concerning risk management.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance is required; a Master's degree is preferred, or 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in lending and/or credit analysis is essential.
  • A comprehensive understanding of credit procedures, programs, and policies is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required.
