Position Overview:
The Credit Specialist plays a crucial role in managing customer credit accounts, which includes communicating about credit applications, billing inquiries, discrepancies, and the collection of overdue invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all job-related tasks.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork and assignments as directed.
  • Evaluate and grant credit extensions.
  • Process payments and update customer accounts accordingly.
  • Engage with customers via phone, mail, and email to address overdue payments and facilitate resolution.
  • Review and clarify terms of sale, service, and credit agreements with customers.
  • Document financial status and collection efforts for each customer.
  • Maintain detailed electronic records of customer interactions and account statuses.
  • Assess when to escalate delinquent accounts to the legal department.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience in collections, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or property management is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and colleagues.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional environment.
