About the Role

Sedgwick is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for expanding and enhancing our top line through diligent relationship building and maintenance with prospective clients across an area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop internal and external relationships/partnerships to drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects to understand their needs and identify opportunities for marketing our programs.
  • Develop and implement an annual sales and service plan to meet client needs and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage the design of service programs to ensure client need fulfillment and exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify expertise required to address individual prospect requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs.
Requirements
  • 10 years of relationship building experience in the claims management or risk management area or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must reside in one of the following Midwest states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
  • Strong understanding of the insurance industry and ability to navigate complex client needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
