Position Summary:

As a pivotal leadership figure reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will play a crucial role in driving growth and nurturing the organizational culture within the Columbus office and the broader Midwest region.

This role is designed for a seasoned professional who can effectively utilize the firm's comprehensive capabilities to position PRIME AE as the premier consulting partner for key clients across Ohio and neighboring states.

The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding skills in business development, client relationship management, and leadership, with a focus on expanding client portfolios, boosting sales, and achieving ambitious growth targets.

Additionally, this position encompasses the responsibilities of Office Executive, overseeing daily operations, facilities management, and fostering a positive office culture.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Formulate and implement strategic business development initiatives to meet growth objectives and secure new project awards in the Columbus and Ohio markets.
  2. Develop client engagement strategies to identify and capitalize on opportunities for revenue generation from major clients.
  3. Secure new contracts by positioning the firm competitively in the procurement process.
  4. Maximize existing contracts to ensure ongoing project work and profitability, particularly within the Federal sector.
  5. Utilize an account management system to deepen client relationships and understand their needs, enhancing the firm's competitive edge.
  6. Collaborate with operational teams to identify necessary resources for client engagements.
  7. Stay informed on industry trends and adjust sales strategies to focus on high-potential projects.
  8. Report on business development activities, sales metrics, and achievements to the CEO and executive leadership.
  9. Engage with the executive team in assessing pursuit risks and making informed decisions on proposal submissions.
  10. Work alongside operations and leadership to explore new market segments and develop strategic approaches for prospective projects.
  11. Build and maintain partnerships with potential collaborators and joint venture entities.
  12. Foster a cohesive office culture, organizing events and activities that promote team unity.
  13. Oversee the operational aspects of the Columbus office, including facilities management and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is required, along with a Professional Engineer license.

The candidate should possess over 15 years of experience in business development within the engineering or architecture sectors.
