Position Overview:
The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Precision Pipeline, LLC is tasked with spearheading the business development and strategic initiatives of the organization.

Precision Pipeline is under the ownership of MPE Partners, a private equity firm that specializes in lower middle market leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and growth investments.

The company is poised for significant expansion, driven by both organic growth and the acquisition of additional utility service enterprises.
This key position will provide insights and expertise in recognizing new business avenues while acting as a specialist in utility services.

The Vice President will manage a team of business unit leaders, consultants, and department heads, representing the company at prestigious industry events.

Responsibilities include analyzing market dynamics, fostering innovation, and making informed decisions to enhance market reach and increase revenue.


Key Responsibilities:
• Formulates and implements detailed business development strategies that align with corporate objectives.
• Identifies and targets high-potential business opportunities within the utility services sector.
• Cultivates and sustains relationships with senior executives at major client organizations and strategic partners.
• Establishes performance metrics and evaluates business development outcomes against these benchmarks.
• Utilizes data analytics to monitor results and communicate findings to the executive team.
• Leads the business development team, offering guidance and setting performance expectations.
• Collaborates with all portfolio company leaders to ensure cohesive business development strategies across the organization.
• Evaluates market trends and competitor actions to guide strategic planning.
• Represents the organization at significant industry conferences and events.
• Develops and oversees the business development budget.
• Ensures the accuracy and integrity of the company’s CRM system.
• Provides regular updates and forecasts to senior management regarding business development efforts and opportunities.
• Promotes innovation in business development methodologies and investigates new revenue channels.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline; MBA is preferred.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in business development or sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated success in driving substantial revenue growth and securing large contracts.
• Extensive network of industry contacts and relationships.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the utility services sector and its market dynamics.
• Experience with complex contract negotiations and partnership arrangements.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
