Position Summary:

We are in search of a promising HR Administrator who possesses a passion for innovation and a critical thinking approach to join our dynamic workforce. In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our HR functions to align with our organizational vision for the future. Your responsibilities will encompass supporting various HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance, while also advancing forward-thinking initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment by identifying suitable candidates for designated roles, conducting preliminary screenings, and arranging interviews.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, which includes extending offers, performing pre-employment screenings, collaborating with managers to formulate onboarding plans, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating benefits enrollment.
  • Manage the offboarding process for employees as necessary; prepare separation letters, coordinate benefits offboarding, update HRIS, and liaise internally to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Maintain and organize employee personnel files.
  • Ensure HRIS data integrity; process employee data changes, including pay rate adjustments, direct deposits, and benefit information, with a focus on proactive issue resolution and accuracy.
  • Administer weekly and biweekly payroll for the organization.
  • Assist in managing employee and company HSA contributions.
  • Support open enrollment for employees across multiple states by collaborating with our benefits broker.
  • Reconcile monthly benefit billing statements and submit them to finance.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and company events.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned and undertake additional duties as required by management.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Prior experience with HRIS platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with payroll and benefits administration is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Fundamental understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on follow-up.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, reliability, and conscientiousness.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, and innovate independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
  • A strong desire to achieve and take initiative within the department.
