Position Summary:
We are in search of a motivated HR Administrator who possesses a passion for innovation and critical thinking to join our dynamic workforce. In this capacity, you will play a vital role in transforming our HR functions to align with our organization's vision for the future. Your responsibilities will encompass supporting various HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance, while advancing forward-thinking initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment by sourcing suitable candidates for designated positions, conducting preliminary screenings, and coordinating interviews.
- Oversee the new hire onboarding process, which includes extending offers, conducting pre-employment screenings, collaborating with managers to develop onboarding plans, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating benefits enrollment.
- Manage employee offboarding as necessary; draft separation letters, facilitate benefits offboarding, update HRIS, and coordinate internally for offboarding preparations.
- Maintain and organize personnel records.
- Ensure HRIS and data integrity; process employee data changes, including pay rate adjustments, direct deposits, and benefit information, with a focus on proactive issue resolution and accuracy.
- Process weekly and biweekly payroll for the organization.
- Assist in the management and funding of employee and company HSA contributions.
- Support open enrollment for employees across multiple states by collaborating with our benefits broker.
- Reconcile monthly benefit billing statements and submit them to finance.
- Conduct and support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
- Participate in special projects as assigned and perform other duties as directed by management.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Prior experience with HRIS platforms is preferred.
- Previous experience with payroll and benefits administration is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Fundamental understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on follow-up.
- Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills, conscientiousness, and reliability.
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, and innovate independently.
- Proficient in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
- A strong desire to achieve and take initiative within the department.
