Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic and operational HR resource, delivering comprehensive HR support to a workforce of approximately 40 employees.
  • Drive the execution of people strategies, ensuring exceptional internal customer service and promoting HR excellence.
  • Oversee all aspects of Compensation, Benefits, and the 401(k) plan, including adjustments to base salaries and managing annual benefits enrollment.
  • Administer the bi-weekly payroll process efficiently.
  • Collaborate with corporate Centers of Excellence to provide site-specific feedback on HR initiatives and support the rollout of corporate programs.
  • Advise management on HR policies, employee development, performance management, and other employee relations matters.
  • Partner with Corporate HR to implement and assess the effectiveness of corporate programs and initiatives.
  • Lead the deployment of HR initiatives at the site level, ensuring effective change management practices are in place.
  • Contribute to fostering a workplace culture that reflects our core values.
  • Champion the development of a diverse and inclusive work environment that is engaging and empowering.
  • Assist management and talent acquisition efforts in identifying and retaining top talent through strategic collaboration.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple priorities effectively while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Provide consultation services to management and employees regarding employee relations.
  • Offer coaching and recommendations for performance improvement and corrective actions.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of employee misconduct, documenting findings and making recommendations.
  • Generate performance program reports to inform management decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior management to implement organizational change initiatives.
  • Develop and execute staffing strategies to attract and retain high-quality talent.
  • Manage the implementation of corporate HR programs at the site level.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Monitor timekeeping systems to ensure accuracy.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with business leaders.
  • Work independently while demonstrating strong operational acumen.

Qualifications

  • Seven to ten years of relevant HR experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and experience in labor relations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with a diverse range of internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage sensitive employee information confidentially.
  • Familiarity with various computer applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is typically performed in a standard office environment.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
