Position Overview:
As a Loan Servicing Assistant Manager, you will leverage your leadership abilities to enhance the quality of service provided in the management of commercial, residential, and consumer loans.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the various servicing operations related to all loan types throughout their life cycle, including payment processing, escrow management, payoff handling, lien release, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

In this role, you will:

  • Supervise and evaluate the productivity and daily activities of the loan servicing team to ensure adherence to established service level agreements (SLAs) and to optimize operational effectiveness.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members while making recommendations for promotions, transfers, and salary adjustments.
  • Monitor team performance and departmental service metrics to ensure compliance with set standards and objectives.
  • Provide ongoing support to team members by assisting with complex processing tasks and addressing escalated member inquiries.
  • Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes in loan servicing and ensure the team is updated accordingly.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is preferred.
A minimum of three years of experience in a related field is strongly preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:
Proficiency in loan servicing requirements and a strong understanding of lending regulations.
Demonstrated knowledge of banking policies and procedures.
Exceptional communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to manage staff in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with technology and systems, with a quick aptitude for learning new systems.
Attention to detail is crucial.
