Residential Program Manager

North Suffolk Community Services Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Program Manager to lead our residential program for adults living with mental illness. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the clinical and administrative aspects of the program, ensuring the overall health and safety of the individuals residing in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Program Leadership
- Oversee the daily operations of the residential program, including staff supervision, training, and evaluation.
- Develop and implement quality indicators through the Intensive Assessment Process (IAP) and program goals.
- Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Facilitate progressive discipline as needed, in conjunction with the Residential Services Coordinator.
- Program Development
- Participate in the assessment of person referrals, admissions, and discharges.
- Ensure program and person records are current, comprehensive, and meet agency and funding source standards.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Liaise with families/guardians, DMH, and other outside service providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Supervise and participate in the housekeeping and maintenance of the house and vehicle.
- Financial Management
- Participate in the development of the program budget and monitor program expenses.
- Supervise the management of person's funds and possessions, within the guidelines of the IAP and agency.
- Quality Assurance
- Monitor medications in accordance with MAP regulations.
- Teach and train newly hired employees to ensure they meet the necessary standards.
- Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience
- Four (4) years experience in human services and supervisory experience required.
- Previous experience with provision and/or management of psychiatric rehabilitation services preferred.
- Skills
- Must obtain Massachusetts MAP & CPR/First Aide certification within five (5) continuous months of hire (training provided).
- Valid Mass driver's license required.
- Paid Time Off – Two weeks' Vacation per year (three weeks after 1 year of service), 12 Sick Days per year, and 11 Paid Holidays per year
