Job Overview
  • Oversee income recertification processes, leasing, and re-leasing of residential units.
  • Deliver exceptional service and support to residents consistently.
  • Manage rent collections, handle delinquencies, issue late notices, and ensure accurate rent postings.
  • Review financial expenditures and assist in formulating annual budgetary requirements.
  • Engage in regular communication with residents collectively as necessary.
  • Effectively supervise maintenance staff, including recruitment, training, delegation, evaluation, coaching, and performance management.
  • Participate in Asset and Property Management Committee meetings, as well as other relevant board meetings.
  • Conduct regular apartment inspections to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Perform weekly property inspections and compile summary reports detailing property activities, observed conditions, and traffic.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly calendars and newsletters for resident engagement.
  • Assist in organizing community activities for residents.
  • Address and resolve any emergencies that may occur.
  • Show available apartments and process applications from prospective residents.
  • Authorize invoices for payment processing.
  • Regularly inspect the property to maintain cleanliness and enhance curb appeal.
  • Supervise a team of 2-3 property staff members.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or senior management.
Qualifications
  • Preferred minimum of three years of experience in property management.
  • Experience with HUD and LIHTC regulations is essential.
  • Experience managing senior communities (55+) is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong computer skills.
  • Ability to advocate for residents, organize tasks, and solve problems effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, follow-up, administrative, and organizational capabilities.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to an automobile.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
Additional Information

Property: Miley Gardens (Senior Living)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Compensation: $28.00 Hourly (Dependent on experience)
