Job Overview

The LIHTC Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our senior living property, ensuring compliance with all regulations and providing exceptional service to residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage income recertification processes, including leasing and re-leasing of units.
  • Deliver outstanding service and support to residents consistently.
  • Oversee rent collection processes, including handling delinquencies and issuing late notices.
  • Review financial expenditures and assist in preparing the annual budget.
  • Maintain regular communication with residents as needed.
  • Effectively supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Participate in Asset and Property Management Committee meetings and other relevant gatherings.
  • Conduct regular inspections of apartments and property conditions.
  • Prepare weekly reports summarizing property activities and conditions observed.
  • Create and distribute monthly newsletters and calendars for residents.
  • Organize community activities for residents.
  • Address and resolve emergencies as they arise.
  • Show available apartments and process applications for prospective residents.
  • Approve invoices for payment.
  • Regularly inspect the property for cleanliness and curb appeal.
  • Supervise a team of 2-3 property staff members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years of experience in property management is preferred.
  • Experience with HUD and LIHTC regulations is required.
  • Experience managing senior communities (55+) is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong advocacy, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Additional Information

Property: Miley Gardens (Senior Living)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Compensation: $28.00 Hourly (Depending on experience)
