Job Overview

As a LIHTC Community Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of our senior living property, ensuring a high standard of service and support for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage income recertification processes, leasing, and re-leasing of units.
  • Deliver exceptional service to residents, maintaining a supportive community environment.
  • Oversee rent collection, address delinquencies, and manage late notices.
  • Assist in budget preparation by reviewing expenses and providing necessary insights.
  • Communicate regularly with residents, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Participate in various meetings including Asset and Property Management Committee sessions.
  • Conduct regular apartment inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Perform weekly property inspections and compile summary reports on conditions and activities.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly newsletters and calendars to residents.
  • Organize community activities and events for residents.
  • Address and resolve emergencies promptly and effectively.
  • Show available apartments and manage the application process for prospective residents.
  • Approve invoices for payment processing.
  • Regularly inspect the property for cleanliness and curb appeal.
  • Lead a team of 2-3 property staff members.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years of experience in property management is preferred.
  • Experience with HUD and LIHTC regulations is essential.
  • Experience managing senior communities (55+) is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong advocacy, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Additional Information

Property: Miley Gardens (Senior Living)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Compensation: $28.00 Hourly (Based on experience)
