Job Description

Position Overview

Solari Enterprises, Inc. is a leading provider of multifamily affordable housing management services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Aurora Apartments community in Oakland, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of community staff members
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to ensure compliance with management procedures and funding agency regulations
  • Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with established management procedures
  • Process applicant information and lease units in accordance with Resident Selection Criteria
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local government agencies, including HUD and TAC
  • Conduct regular inspections of maintenance work, grounds, and common areas
  • Collect rents and manage delinquent accounts

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing
  • Experience in supervising staff members
  • Experience with Section 8 and other affordable housing programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
  • Experience with Yardi and other property management software
  • Knowledge of fair housing regulations and other relevant laws and regulations
  • Certifications such as CPO, SHCM, RAM, and FHC
