Position Overview
The Washington State Department of Revenue (DOR) is on the lookout for a Senior Administrative Coordinator to provide essential support to our Working Families Tax Credit (WFTC) division. We are seeking candidates who can:
Exhibit a professional demeanor, promote teamwork, and strive to exceed expectations in a collaborative environment.
As the primary and confidential assistant to the Assistant Director and team members, you will have the authority to advise and act in the absence of the Assistant Director regarding administrative matters. This role involves ensuring that division policies and procedures are effectively communicated to staff and assisting with sensitive and complex issues.
Your specific duties will include:
This position offers flexibility for telework; however, in-office presence is expected several days a week based on operational needs.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess:
A minimum of one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant 4
OR
Two years of experience as an Administrative Assistant 3
OR
A Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or a closely related field AND three years of administrative experience.
Note: Additional relevant experience may substitute for educational qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
