Position Overview: Administrative Review Program Coordinator
The Washington State Department of Revenue (DOR) is seeking an Administrative Review Program Coordinator to play a pivotal role within the Administrative Review and Hearings Division. This position is designed for a legal expert with a forward-thinking approach to contribute to this newly formed role.
The Administrative Review Program Coordinator will be tasked with:
- Effectively resolving intricate cases.
- Overseeing executive-level case management.
- Developing and conducting training programs.
- Cultivating robust relationships with internal and external partners.
- Managing the dissemination of Washington Tax Decisions.
- Evaluating and endorsing critical determinations.
Key Duties include:
- Assessing selected drafts of significant determinations to ensure consistency with state tax regulations.
- Leading the publication process for Washington Tax Decisions.
- Offering insights to Executive management regarding petitions for review.
- Acting as the Director's representative for cases under executive-level review.
- Supervising training efforts within the Administrative Review and Hearings Division.
- Serving as a liaison to various divisions within the Department.
- Composing determinations for assigned cases involving complex issues.
