Your Role:

As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our accounting team and ensuring the accuracy of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of 4-5 accounting professionals and managing AP/AR/Payroll processes.
  • Preparing monthly and year-end financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations for various jurisdictions.
  • Managing client and vendor registrations and credit applications.
  • Assisting in the reconciliation of insurance programs.
  • Collaborating with Project Managers on job cost entries.
  • Overseeing contract reconciliations at project completion.
  • Providing updates on work in progress and assisting with revenue forecasts.
  • Preparing internal financial statements and supporting external audits.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of accounting software systems.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Performing additional accounting duties as required.

What You Bring:

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a general contractor.
  • Proficiency in Sage CRE software.
  • A strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to exceed expectations.
  • A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000.
