About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Technical Account Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from large and fast-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services
  • Provide technical guidance and advocacy to help customers plan and build solutions using best practices
  • Proactively keep customers' AWS environments operationally healthy
  • Develop close relationships with customers to understand their business and technical needs
  • Represent AWS within a customer's environment and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline, and 2+ years of equivalent work experience or 4+ years of related work experience
  • 2+ years of technical engineering experience
  • Experience in Information Technology operations
  • Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars and ability to properly apply them to existing or new customer architecture, implementations, and/or solutions
  • Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience as a technical lead
  • Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more executive team member(s)
