Position Overview
As the Vice President of Community Association Sales, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our bank's presence within the community association management sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Enhance the bank's share of the client's overall relationship by acquiring deposit business and effectively cross-selling suitable bank products and services tailored for community association management companies.
  • Lead Generation: Drive lead generation through participation in local and national trade association events, including trade shows, luncheons, and committee engagements.
  • Sales Tracking: Maintain detailed sales and account management records utilizing the approved sales tracking system.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate strategic sales responses to RFPs and client proposals.
  • Client Proposals: Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the initial preparation of client proposals and pricing models, including the creation of pricing proformas and profilers as needed.
  • Service Agreements: Prepare and secure executed service agreements and necessary documentation for each new client.
  • Onboarding Collaboration: Work closely with the onboarding team to guarantee an exceptional customer experience.
  • Training Participation: Engage actively in required corporate and business line training sessions.
  • Cross-Selling: Partner with the relationship team to cross-sell bank products and services when appropriate.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in the HOA industry, directly engaging with associations and/or property management firms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and driven by goals.
  • Utilizes professional skills, knowledge, and techniques to optimize business opportunities.
  • In-depth understanding of various financial products and services, along with a solid grasp of the market sector served.
  • Extensive industry contacts.
  • Proven ability to prospect for new associations.
  • Capability to organize and prioritize tasks while working remotely or in a virtual office environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in Homeowner Association sales.

Physical Requirements

  • Position requires prolonged periods of sitting or standing in front of a computer monitor.
  • Frequent use of a computer or office equipment, involving repetitive motions of the hands and wrists.
  • Light physical work may include moving objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally as necessary for business development and client retention efforts.
  • Ability to assemble tradeshow booths and equipment, including the movement of promotional items and displays.
