Regional Vice President Job Description

Tanium is seeking a highly skilled Regional Vice President to lead our sales team in the West Coast region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering technology solutions to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and lead a team of Directors of Strategic Accounts and sales representatives to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for key accounts in collaboration with Tanium's Partner and Channel resources.
  • Maintain awareness of contractual obligations and facilitate customer meetings and communications as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience selling to large named accounts.
    • 5-10+ years of proven sales leadership experience with a reputable software company.
    • Deep knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape and network operations environment.
    • History of exceptional sales performance and quota attainment.
    • Knowledge and passion for reporting metrics and closing deals.
    • Enterprise sales experience with a strong network of decision-makers.
    • 'Whatever it takes' attitude and motivation to achieve exceptional sales results.
