Position: Bilingual Administrative Coordinator - English as a Second Language

The YWCA Princeton is seeking a part-time Bilingual Administrative Coordinator for our English as a Second Language (ESL) program. This position is dedicated to assisting students from various backgrounds in their journey to learn English. Under the guidance of the ESL Director, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing student intake, determining program eligibility, and performing various administrative duties to ensure the effective functioning of the ESL program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate student eligibility for program participation
  • Coordinate student intake and assessment schedules
  • Track student attendance and address any absences
  • Prepare assessment materials for students
  • Assist in organizing end-of-year events
  • Communicate with educators and students regarding coursework
  • Manage student registration through database systems
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of student records
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish
  • Experience with database management is advantageous
  • Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience
