Sales Operations Specialist

The Sales Coordinator is accountable for driving lead generation, managing leads, delivering sales presentations, finalizing sales, and achieving monthly sales targets.
This role involves close collaboration with the Sales Director to streamline the daily functions of the sales office and support the team in reaching the community's occupancy and revenue objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe following tasks are typical for this position. This list is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned.
Sales and Marketing
Engages with all leads sourced from advertising, public relations, referrals, or personal connections, converting these leads into community residents through effective sales techniques.
Completes monthly Critical Success Factors (calls, personal notes, and presentations) to maintain a robust lead pipeline.
Establishes customer-centric relationships by guiding leads through the sales journey and securing commitments from residents, families, and professional referral sources.
Ensures exceptional service for each prospect by fostering a welcoming atmosphere, which includes greeting and acknowledging every visitor, maintaining comprehensive product knowledge, and excelling in customer service.
Collaborates with fellow sales team members and management to plan, coordinate, and execute monthly prospect and/or referral source activities and events.
Works with other sales team members to formulate and implement marketing strategies aimed at achieving community occupancy targets.Maintains prospect engagement and commitments through ongoing follow-up.
Adheres to organizational protocols in lead tracking and keeps up-to-date records of all leads and prospects.
Exhibits expertise and knowledge of current best practices in successful upscale retirement housing sales and marketing methodologies.
Represents the organization professionally at public and community events, promoting a positive image of the community.
Complies with relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Acquires knowledge and demonstrates the principles of Starling, person-directed care, and successful aging philosophies, embodying core values of Support, Truthfulness, Accountability, and Respect.
Maintains regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
Submits timely weekly sales reports as required.
Marketing StrategyUnderstands competitive dynamics and presents strategic options to the Executive Director.
Demonstrates a solid grasp of the senior care market.
Revenue Generation
Aims to meet established monthly sales goals.
External Business Development
Generates leads and move-ins from targeted referral sources.
Identifies referral sources through site-specific research.
Resident Move-In Process
Reviews and facilitates the Move-In Packet with the resident and/or family.
Coordinates the Resident Assessment (if applicable).
Oversees and manages the move-in process as outlined in the Resident Move-In and Apartment Readiness checklists.
Ensures all state-mandated paperwork and forms are completed on or before the move-in date by the family and/or resident.
Leadership and Development
Stays informed on professional development in the field by reading, attending conferences, and participating in training sessions.
Acts with professionalism and integrity at all times in representing the Company.
Other duties as assigned.

Educational Background and Experience
A minimum of two years of sales experience is preferred, with a focus on sales within a senior living context being advantageous.
