Position Overview
ADP is seeking a Sales Support Analyst.
  • This role is part of our Commercial Operations Center of Excellence (CoE) and operates in a hybrid work environment.
Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As a Sales Support Analyst, you will be tasked with developing and delivering timely, high-quality sales productivity metrics and operational process enhancements within ADP's Global Sales Marketing division.
  • Your analytical and technical expertise will support the measurement of KPIs and facilitate effective decision-making across various business units.

We are looking for individuals who are proactive, intellectually curious, and capable of identifying and implementing innovative solutions to business challenges.

You will collaborate with Sales Operational Leaders and various internal teams, including Analytics Automation and Market Territory Planning, while also managing urgent business-critical tasks.


Responsibilities Include:
  • Conducting data analytics to proactively generate insights and provide regular updates to Business Units and leadership through dashboards and reports.
  • Preparing standardized reports and analyses to support sales leaders across different business units.
  • Utilizing various dashboarding tools for effective data storytelling and visualization.
  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of key sales data sources and their interrelations to produce meaningful reports and identify solutions for data gaps.
  • Employing exploratory data analysis to uncover significant relationships and trends from complex datasets to inform decision-making.
  • Delivering client-focused support for Sales partners in a timely manner.
  • Performing ad-hoc sales analyses and managing quick turnaround times for assigned projects.

Understanding the needs of the sales team and providing actionable recommendations for effective change management is essential.

You should be able to explain technical terms and concepts in a clear and accessible manner.


Qualifications:
  • A college degree is beneficial but not mandatory; relevant skills are more critical.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Sales or Marketing Operations, Data Reporting Analytics, or Process Improvement is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (SFDC, Oracle, etc.) is required.
  • Experience with data aggregation and querying tools (e.g., SQL, AWS) is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic sales environment with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities and the ability to collaborate across functions while managing confidential information.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in business language.
  • Proven capacity to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Demonstrated excellence in conducting complex, impactful analyses.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on curiosity and ethical standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Excel and Sales Enablement Tools (CRM, GONG, Seismic, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Capacity to perform in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of HR and Payroll industry tools and best practices is a plus.
