Job Overview

The Head of B2B Systems Management is tasked with establishing the overarching vision, strategic direction, objectives, and organizational leadership for the B2B development and architecture teams at Altice USA.

This role involves spearheading strategic initiatives and projects focused on B2B Services, ensuring that large-scale, complex programs are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within financial constraints while delivering anticipated value to the organization.

Moreover, the Head of B2B Systems Management plays a pivotal role in guiding the development and integration of IT systems delivery, adhering to established project management and software development methodologies, policies, and procedures to ensure a consistent and reusable approach for managing multiple IT projects that swiftly deliver high-quality IT solutions and meet service delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and communicate the overall vision, strategic direction, objectives, and organizational leadership for the B2B development and architecture teams at Altice USA.
  • Investigate and evaluate advanced, innovative CRM, commerce, billing, and OSS technologies that enhance the efficiency of teams serving SMB and Enterprise Customers.
  • Inventively develop and implement new technologies for SMB and Enterprise Customers that promote the deployment of existing and new products and services, as well as improve the operational efficiency of B2B business units.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and projects related to all B2B Services, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution of large, complex programs that deliver expected value to the organization.
  • Play a strategic role in defining and directing Information Technology Applications and Systems that align with the ongoing objectives and growth of the B2B business.
  • Collaborate with all levels of the B2B business units, including individual contributors, managers, and executives, to identify specific gaps in business unit systems and processes that could benefit from new technology applications.
  • Assess business unit requirements and advocate for the advantages (e.g., ROI) of advanced technology solutions.
  • Provide active leadership in the development and integration of IT systems delivery, adhering to formal project management and software development methodologies, policies, and procedures to ensure a consistent and reusable process for managing multiple IT projects that rapidly deliver high-quality IT solutions and meet service delivery expectations.
  • Ensure product delivery, manage expectations and capabilities, and oversee activities and resources not under direct management control.
  • Actively engage in long-term strategic planning and annual budgeting activities.
  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, and career development, including training and mentoring of staff.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant experience in Information Technology with a focus on B2B.
  • Experience with B2B Telco platforms.
  • Familiarity with the SMB and Enterprise customer landscape and supporting technologies such as Salesforce, Netcracker, API Gateways, and OSS platforms.
  • At least five years of management experience.
  • Proven experience in business partnership and vendor management.
  • Architectural background is highly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in strategic planning and cost management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and translate business needs into technical requirements.
