Altice USA is in search of a talented Head of Technical Accounting and Compliance to enhance our financial team. This position reports directly to the VP, Assistant Controller, and requires exceptional communication abilities to effectively articulate technical accounting requirements to senior management and various business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and determine suitable accounting treatments for complex financial transactions
  • Formulate and revise corporate accounting policies and procedures
  • Draft technical accounting memoranda addressing complex issues
  • Implement processes to ensure consistent application of accounting principles
  • Collaborate with auditors and business leaders on accounting-related matters
  • Keep abreast of developments in accounting standards

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in Accounting
  • Background in a Big 4 public accounting firm
  • Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP
  • Proficient in analyzing financial transactions and documenting findings
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to foster relationships across the organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory
