Your Impact

We are seeking a seasoned Territory Sales Executive to collaborate with field service management in comprehending our clients' needs and identifying new business opportunities. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will devise and execute effective strategies to penetrate markets and enhance our extensive portfolio of enduring client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Builds and sustains strategic customer relationships by proactively engaging with current clients and new prospects to consistently meet sales and business objectives.
  • Identifies new opportunities: expands business presence and solutions with assigned clients, ensuring a robust and qualified sales pipeline with a high closing ratio.
  • Establishes and maintains professional credibility and influence within the industry to effectively partner with clients and be recognized as a strategic ally, enhancing the customer experience.
  • Networks and prospects across various industries to cultivate a strong qualified pipeline that aligns with company sales goals.
  • Interacts and presents TSS's service offerings to all levels within existing and potential client organizations.
  • Attends industry trade shows and conferences as necessary.
  • Acts as a mentor to clients by evaluating growth opportunities and promoting new services.
  • Ensures robust growth through cross-selling and upselling strategies by collaborating with different business units.
  • Works closely with other Territory Sales Executives, Inside Sales, and service delivery managers to guarantee high customer satisfaction and alignment on service delivery.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the company's complete range of services to swiftly adapt recommendations to meet client needs.
  • Conducts structured business review sessions with executive management to ensure alignment on client strategies and priorities, refine our value proposition, and foster continuous improvement through innovative ideas and recommendations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range of $75,000 - $120,000 ($107,142 - $178,571 OTE)
    (Salary determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with industry standards.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Environmental Facilities Management, or a related field is required.
  • A master's degree is advantageous.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role with a proven track record of independently sourcing and managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for documenting productivity, reporting pipeline expectations, and identifying opportunities.
  • A combination of education, training, and relevant experience may fulfill requirements.
Skills and Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of laboratory/healthcare compliance services and related markets.
  • Proven success in selling service support contracts, subscriptions, or related services.
  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills with a commitment to problem-solving and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with employees, prospects, existing clients, peers, and management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with individuals at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt swiftly to a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Remote position with the ability to travel 50% - 70% of the time to visit client sites.
