About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our Field/Mid Market Sales Team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing business within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly sales quotas through effective prospecting and territory development efforts.
  • Master consultative sales methodologies and sales process.
  • Successfully demonstrate how AppFolio's Property Manager can positively impact Net Operating Income (NOI) and support achievement of customers' business goals.
  • Obtain an understanding of the property management industry to effectively build trust and find value in sales conversations.
  • Meet all targets applicable to achieving success in the role (KPIs, quota, behavioral).
  • Operate with a Growth mindset - open to change and constant development.
  • Achieve Weekly Pipeline creation goals and develop your territory through targeted prospecting and effective lead follow-up.
  • Document all sales activity in Salesforce and meet daily key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships and find creative solutions.
  • Ability and resilience to work in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment.
  • Proven record of success exceeding assigned quotas through prospecting, tele-sales, and working a sales-assigned territory.
  • Strong computer skills, including Salesforce, Google Suite, and Zoom.
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in tech.
  • 2+ years of experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or financial/accounting applications preferred.
  • Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology a plus.
  • North East location a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary wage for this role is $65,000-$110,000. The actual base salary/hourly wage will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate's skills, education, experience, etc.

Regular full-time employees are eligible for benefits. We accept applications on an ongoing basis.
