Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Vice President of Real Estate Valuation, you will be responsible for delivering objective and reliable assessments of residential properties in compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Your primary duties will include:

  • Evaluating local and regional market trends to formulate a well-supported opinion of property value.
  • Utilizing USPAP guidelines to create compliant and credible appraisal documentation.
  • Conducting thorough inspections and measurements of residential properties to ascertain features that influence value and marketability.
  • Leveraging expertise to manage complex appraisal assignments across diverse geographic areas.
  • Independently handling appraisal requests while adhering to delivery timelines.
  • Collaborating with the Appraisal Department to streamline processes and mitigate potential issues.
  • Ensuring that appraisal analyses are comprehensive and reports are meticulously prepared.
  • Focusing on designated coverage areas to maximize efficiency and service quality.
  • Embracing a customer-centric approach to service and supporting the core values of the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid Appraiser Certification/License with good standing.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant appraisal experience in a mortgage or appraisal setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of residential appraisal methodologies and practices.
  • Strong understanding of USPAP and a commitment to maintaining appraisal integrity.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills to navigate complex appraisal scenarios.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in utilizing technology to enhance appraisal processes and report generation.
