Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Vice President of Real Estate Valuation, your primary role will be to deliver impartial and credible assessments of residential properties, adhering to both federal and state regulations as well as internal standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating local and regional market data to substantiate property valuations.
  • Utilizing USPAP guidelines to create compliant and reliable appraisal reports.
  • Conducting thorough inspections and measurements of residential properties to ascertain their physical characteristics that influence value and marketability.
  • Leveraging your expertise to manage complex residential appraisal tasks across diverse geographical areas.
  • Independently handling appraisal orders while ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborating with the Appraisal Department to streamline processes and mitigate delays.
  • Ensuring that appraisal analyses are robust and that reports are comprehensive and devoid of errors.
  • Focusing on designated counties for appraisal coverage.
  • Embracing a customer-centric approach in line with the organization’s values and policies.
Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid Appraiser Certification/License and maintain good standing with the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board.
  • Have a minimum of two years of relevant appraisal experience within a mortgage or appraisal firm.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of residential appraisal methodologies and standards.
  • Exhibit a thorough comprehension of USPAP and a commitment to maintaining appraisal integrity.
  • Showcase strong analytical and critical thinking skills to navigate complex appraisal scenarios.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight, emphasizing effective time management.
  • Exhibit proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance appraisal processes and report delivery.
