Position Overview:

The HR Business Partner Specialist plays a pivotal role within the HR Business Partner and Transformation team. This position is essential for delivering comprehensive client service and executing strategic HR initiatives that align with the organizational culture and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support HR Partner and designated client area activities, including employee relations, succession planning, change management, and organizational design.
  • Provide coaching and conflict resolution, leadership consultation, and performance management support.
  • Engage in training and employee engagement initiatives, ensuring compliance with equal opportunity and affirmative action policies.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of client operations and specific HR needs.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in an HR Generalist role or equivalent experience in specialized HR functions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment.
  • Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a reputation for being approachable and dependable.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred:
  • HR Certification.
  • Experience with HR systems such as Link/Lawson.
  • Background in a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Experience in healthcare or academic environments.
