In this role, you will oversee marketing initiatives, sales strategies, and the cultivation of business opportunities and relationships with prospective clients. This position encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, necessitating comprehensive knowledge of the space sector, telecommunications, RF electronic products, technology commercialization, market analysis, relationship management, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously assess and update the commercial and DOD aerospace telecommunications electronics market landscape and trends.
  • Identify new business opportunities and draft and submit RFI and RFP responses.
  • Engage with existing and potential clients and collaborate with engineering and product development teams to identify market gaps and demands.
  • Contribute to the strategic and R&D roadmaps for the organization while driving top-line revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aerospace electronics sales and marketing, particularly in RF and telecommunications equipment. We seek someone who is highly organized, articulate, adaptable, quick to understand business needs, a team player, and an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with a strong desire to learn.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant business development experience in the space or aerospace sectors.
  • Thorough understanding of market analytics and technology planning and commercialization.
  • Experience in leading business development initiatives, including crafting overall win strategies and developing teaming strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in solution selling and market development, showcasing leadership from inception to successful execution of strategic campaigns.
  • Familiarity with government contracting and current acquisition trends.
  • Proven track record of developing business with government and DoD clients.
  • Ability to formulate and implement effective business plans.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
  • A positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Effective presentation skills and experience leading client meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • MBA degree.
  • Experience in the New Space industry.
  • Experience in the aerospace telecommunications sector.
  • Experience in startup environments.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Compensation ranges from $190,000 to $235,000 annually. Roman Health Pharmacy LLC considers various factors when extending an offer, including the role's responsibilities, the candidate's experience, education, and key skills. Full-time employment offers include stock options and a comprehensive benefits package, featuring health, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life, and retirement plans.
