About the Role

The Area Director, Sales is a key leadership position responsible for driving revenue growth and sales strategy execution across a designated region. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Lead a High-Performing Sales Team: Manage and develop a team of sales professionals to ensure they have the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to succeed.
  • Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance: Track key sales metrics and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 8+ Years of Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a strong understanding of sales strategies, tactics, and metrics.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the waste management industry and its key players, trends, and challenges.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team, as well as communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions.
