Accounting and Administrative Support

ATS-AL Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in both accounting and administrative support functions.
In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance department by assisting with daily accounting tasks and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Enter financial transactions into internal databases with precision and efficiency.
- Review, prepare, and file payroll documents accurately and on time.
- Assist in quarterly and annual audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Maintain both digital and physical financial records in an organized manner.
- Provide administrative support, including answering phones, greeting clients, and handling general office tasks.
- Previous experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk is preferred.
- A strong understanding of basic bookkeeping procedures (GAAP) is essential.
- Familiarity with finance regulations and best practices.
- Excellent math skills and the ability to identify numerical errors.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Drake Accounting & Drake Tax.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
This is a part-time position with the potential to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.
