ATS-AL Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in both accounting and administrative support functions.

In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance department by assisting with daily accounting tasks and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases with precision and efficiency.
  • Review, prepare, and file payroll documents accurately and on time.
  • Assist in quarterly and annual audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Maintain both digital and physical financial records in an organized manner.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, greeting clients, and handling general office tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of basic bookkeeping procedures (GAAP) is essential.
  • Familiarity with finance regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent math skills and the ability to identify numerical errors.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Drake Accounting & Drake Tax.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.

This is a part-time position with the potential to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.
