Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant/Receptionist to join our team at ATS-AL Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our accounting department, including daily accounting tasks, data entry, and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases and reconcile accounts
  • Review and prepare payroll documents, including reconciliations and audits
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, both digital and physical
  • Assist with quarterly and annual audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering phones, and greeting clients
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures (GAAP) and familiarity with finance regulations
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, Drake Accounting & Drake Tax)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
