Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive clerical and administrative assistance to support office operations.
  • Draft and manage correspondence, files, and documentation utilizing word processing or data management tools.
  • Act as the primary contact for the office, offering information and assistance as needed.
  • Organize and maintain files, inventories, and records through both manual and electronic systems.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, volunteers, and visitors to the school.
  • Carry out other related tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure regular and punctual attendance.
  • Prepare letters, forms, and various documents as required.
  • Type a range of routine and complex documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Assist with administrative and student-related functions such as enrollment, attendance tracking, report preparation, and parent communication.
  • Utilize various office equipment, including copiers, faxes, and scanners.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding sensitive information related to students and the educational program.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Capability to work an eight-hour shift.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Capacity to work independently with or without oversight.
  • Understanding of workplace safety protocols.
  • Ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undertake reasonable job-related tasks as directed by the supervisor to support departmental needs.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, depending on job duties.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, turning, and reaching as part of job functions.
  • Required strength, dexterity, and capability to perform all assigned tasks.
