Job Overview

At Career Personnel, we are seeking a highly skilled Regional Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior management and coordinating office staff to ensure seamless task management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, for multiple locations and franchises.
  • Process high-volume transactions in QuickBooks, ensuring timely and accurate posting of vendor invoices and journal entries.
  • Code and post vendor invoices using applicable general ledger codes and locations, maintaining accurate financial reporting.
  • Post monthly transactions between intercompany accounts, ensuring accurate financial statements.
  • Balance bank accounts, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Work in the general ledger, creating and posting journal entries as needed.
  • Maintain accurate coding and reporting of all credit cards and fuel cards for assigned locations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Provide support for accounting-related needs as requested by franchises, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Prepare and provide monthly reporting to the Controller, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting files, maintaining a secure and organized financial environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role, with a focus on financial management and operations.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred, with knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable procedures and practices, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Excel and Word.
