  • A minimum of three years of experience in a hospital setting is essential.
  • At least two years of clerical experience is required.
  • No specific licenses or certifications are necessary.
  • Familiarity with Medical Terminology, Spelling, and Grammar is important.
  • Typing proficiency of 85 words per minute, along with strong Spelling, Grammar, and Telephone Skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Understanding of hospital-based information systems and institutional policies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Knowledge of proper body mechanics is beneficial.
