Position Overview

The role of the Regional Sales Manager involves overseeing the sales operations for our comprehensive suite of Optimum Business products, specifically targeting the small to medium-sized business sector. This position is crucial for managing and developing a team of Account Executives (AEs) focused on penetrating the SMB market. The Regional Sales Manager will ensure that sales goals are achieved and will play a key role in the recruitment and training of new AEs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a sales team of approximately 9 to 12 AEs, reporting directly to the Area Sales Director.
  • Monitor and ensure that both individual and team sales objectives are met.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities currently serviced by competitors.
  • Provide valuable feedback to the Product and Marketing teams regarding competitive insights and market demands.
  • Conduct field visits to evaluate sales order addresses and provide constructive feedback to AEs.
  • Facilitate regular sales meetings and workshops to enhance team performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for analyzing challenges and developing effective solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Broad knowledge of telecommunications and related systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and personnel effectively.
