Job Overview

The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for executing blood donor recruitment initiatives, overseeing and coordinating all facets of the recruitment process to achieve objectives for a designated region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement blood donor recruitment strategies to fulfill targets for the assigned region.
  • Establish and nurture effective professional relationships with donor drive coordinators to ensure successful outcomes and support internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue potential blood drive opportunities with both new and existing clients.
  • Utilize independent judgment to tailor communication and approach, effectively managing blood drive accounts.
  • Determine the necessary marketing and promotional resources required to meet established objectives while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Oversee blood drive scheduling to align with business needs, which may involve recruiting during blood drives to guarantee their success.
  • Represent the organization at community engagement events.
  • Leverage available technologies and channels to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of blood drives.
  • Manage and prioritize time and resources to maximize the effectiveness of the assigned territory.
  • Comply with all administrative responsibilities, ensuring timely submission of all reporting requests.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must be able to fulfill each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The following qualifications are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.


Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required. Previous sales experience is preferred.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are necessary.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient in utilizing digital technology and communication tools (e.g., smartphones, tablets).
  • Adept at reading, analyzing, and interpreting business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Capable of writing reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures.
  • Skilled in effectively presenting information and responding to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to deliver persuasive presentations to both small and large groups of business contacts.
  • Quickly establish rapport with new business contacts and the public.
  • Proficient in solving practical problems and navigating various variables in situations with limited standardization.
  • Able to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other business software.
  • Fluent in speaking, writing, reading, and understanding standard English.
  • Ability to commute using personal transportation.
