Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at First Citizens Bank. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for leading a team of support associates and overseeing the delivery of exceptional client service, loan documentation quality, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Manage a team that provides loan support, customer service, and sales support for commercial bankers, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to company standards.
  • Risk Management: Monitor loan portfolio performance, ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and standards, and lead efforts to mitigate identified risks.
  • Loan Coaching: Train commercial banking associates on loan closing procedures, documentation, and regulatory requirements, and partner with regional leadership on training initiatives.
  • Managerial Functions: Establish and monitor expectations to achieve company and regional goals, make changes to banking policies and procedures as needed, and manage the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in bank lending or underwriting, operations, or sales, or a High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of experience in the same field. Proven skills in creation, design, and interpretation of sales reports are a plus.
