Business Development Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Sales Executive to join our team at Cox Communications. With over 120 years of experience, we have established ourselves as the largest private telecom company in America, serving six million homes and businesses.
As a Business Development Sales Executive, you will be responsible for acquiring new accounts and developing existing relationships with clients. Your primary focus will be on closing deals with mid-sized business prospects and clients, while also upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. You should also have proficiency in using Windows-based PCs, Microsoft Office, and a CRM tool.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a related field, or a relevant degree with equivalent experience. Telecommunications, technology, or cloud sales experience is a plus.
Cox offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $51,300 - $76,900 per year, as well as an annual incentive/commission target of $62,800. In addition to salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.
