At LSI Industries Inc., we're seeking a highly motivated Customer Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This role plays a crucial part in driving new business opportunities through proactive outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling appointments, supporting various sales campaigns, and nurturing potential customer relationships to facilitate a smooth handoff to the sales team or manufacturing representatives.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to qualified prospects identified through marketing efforts and other internal sources.
  • Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with prospective customers, ensuring seamless transitions to external sales or manufacturer representatives.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, and proactively identify process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively manage workload to meet or exceed set response time goals.
  • Escalate critical customer concerns to supervisors when necessary to maintain high service standards.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • 2-5 years of experience in inside sales or customer service, or a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of general work experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate concisely and persuasively.
  • Strong aptitude in inside sales, customer service, active listening, organization, time management, and follow-up.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver a high volume of accurate work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and comfortable navigating digital tools.
  • Professional maturity, strong work ethic, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Adaptability, with the capacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
